Katie completed a Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science and Rehabilitation) in 2003 at the University of Wollongong and further extended her studies, completing a Masters in Physiotherapy in 2006 at the University of Sydney. Following completion of her studies, Katie worked in rehabilitation hospitals and private practices in Sydney, where she developed her interest in orthopedics, Lumbo-Pelvic dysfunction, women’s health, pre/post-natal physiotherapy and clinical pilates.

Katie is a mum and has had personal experience with the changes the pelvis and body undergo during pregnancy, birth and post-natally. She has furthered her studies into pelvic floor dysfunction through the Women’s Health Training Associates. Katie also knows the importance of pilates and rehabilitation during this special time to ensure function is maintained.

With a keen interested in clinical pilates and the positive health benefits when combined with physiotherapy, Katie went on to complete a Diploma in clinical pilates and Rehabilitation with Polestar International.

Katie is also certified in PINC Cancer Rehabilitation pilates and brings a natural empathetic approach to these treatments.

Katie is committed to helping clients overcome pain and return to optimal function. She uses a holistic integrated approach to achieve results and strongly believes in educating clients so they can play an active role in their recovery and maintain control. Katie believes optimal health outcomes are achieved through stability, strength, alignment and body awareness to ensure long-term resolution. She uses her physiotherapy and clinical pilates to ensure clients achieve optimal health.
